Its really interesting the way hurricane Lilly rapidly intesified and then rapidly deminished. The most inportant is to find the intensity of the hurricane. The first step is to find what factors help learning the hurricanes strangth. Its cool how the saharien air layer helps people predict how strong the hurricane will be. Since they know that the saharan air layer helps them, the second step is to learn more on the saharien air layer. They do this with their new satalites. All of this is to help us live safely.

Blueprint III

I found it quit interesting. the other day i was discusing with my dad how far we've come as humans. I find it cool that just a sand layer can tell so much. I think we should focus more on this at the moment, as it could save lives.

"MAN ON THE MOON"

man that waz crazy, wt*, man its so cool to find that people really were able to swim against the current of that strong water which was like almost 2 meters high becasue some people can't swim.. i think countries should find a way to have water removed into the ocean very quikly befor incidents like this happen again...

I think that people are starting to understand how powerful and destructive natural disasters can be. Not only does it kill countless people but it also destroys the survivors homes so they have no place to stay. From now on people must think of solutions they never though of before because what is normal now was impossible back then.

This video was astonishing yet sad knowing that land, homes, and families were all destroyed in a click. I can't imagine what my life would be if such a thing were to happen to me. Where would I go? Where would the rest of my family be? Numerous questions would run through my head, I don't know how I would manage. We all wish things like this could be avoidable, but for the time being hopefully people are working on things to counter the "natures roar". I know that for earthquakes they have special structures that can withstand the turbulance but i hope they are looking for ways to prevent hurricanes although this seems to be an impossible task at the moment.

"hurrincane dust"
i found this video very interesting. it was very educating becuase i didnt knkow that wind blown off from the sahara could have such a big inpact on how intense a hurricane can get. the part i found the most interesting was the part where the sand layer theaory was "proven" this was when they recorded hurican lily geting out of the sand layer and beccoming stonger, when it was stabalized in the sand layer.

"first video thingy.."
What i like the most about this video was that it wasnt every man for himself... no one was left unatended and they all help each other get to safty. although i do aggree with every one else. its vey sad to see somany lives and homes lost to that event.

It was amazing to see the flash flood take over Istanbuls roadway. All the people trapped in the flood having no way to escape worked together to survive waiting for some help from helicopters even though there were casualties. As much as 35 people died and some even got seriously injured.

Seing the people take refuge on top of buildings and vans made me think about how courageous each individual is.While we all stand here in our houses, they are in Istanbul facing a natural disaster that could not be avoided. Each one of them risking their lifes to try and get on the other side safely so they may continue their journey.

blog on Q and vid

The title of the planet affects the seasons because the Tilt affects the seasons because of the amount of sun direct sun light that shins on the earths suffice.
I found this very interesting and all i also cool that the people were able to go to and swim against the currents (eddy and El would suffer they cant swim) i also found it to be a bit sad because people die and all the choase people lose there homes and families fall apart.

Its a terrible thing.. you cant stop a natural disaster. A hard time for these people, losing their homes. I cant imagine witnessing a disaster like this.
the other day i was talking with my parents, about how in some areas (Kenya, there is drought). but in other areas there are floods, and how life would be different if it was vise versa. for example; Africa. instead of going through droughts etc, we would get more rain...

I found the video very interesting how people take refuge on top of cars, buildings, inside the busses, and its crazy to see all those people swimming against the current.
I would be so scared if something like that happend... just thinking that some families have no houses anymore and everything is destroyed... and a lot of people die.
